Publication date: 27.05.2024

We are pleased to announce the good news: the Department of Family Medicine and Outpatient Care hosted the first scientific conference of the School of Medicine, where foreign students presented the results of their own research.

In the cozy atmosphere of the department’s lecture hall, the curtains were opened to the mysterious world of medical science.

After the plenary session, the staff of the Department and the Training Center for Family Medicine and Preventive Care held 6 simultaneous master classes for medical students with a furor, giving them the opportunity to learn a number of practical skills necessary for a family doctor.

Master classes on teaching practical skills in diagnosing diseases of internal organs in adults and children (training using cyborgs), dermatoscopy skills, principles of rehabilitation for back pain, and ultrasound diagnosis of thyroid diseases were extremely popular.

The department’s trainers used the skills of interactive training, and received positive feedback and popularity among visitors.

Such mini-trainings on practical skills in general practice will be a new initiative for alternative learning at the training center starting next semester.
