We invite you to participate in a placebo study at the InterFamily Clinic

Publication date: 25.03.2026

We’d like to tell you more about our study and invite you to join us. Taking care of your mental health is extremely important, especially during these challenging times.

The essence of the study is as follows:

1. A person fills out a form.

2. If a person’s depressive symptoms score a certain number of points on this questionnaire and, according to the doctor’s assessment, meet the inclusion criteria, they may participate in the study.

3. The participant is randomly assigned to one of two groups:

  • Group 1: immediately receives an open-label placebo and psychosocial support based on the internationally recognized mhGAP guidelines.
  • Group 2: receives psychosocial support based on the mhGAP guidelines and begins taking an open-label placebo after 1.5 months.

The person’s condition is continuously assessed using a special scale.
The aim of the study is to determine whether, in cases of mild or moderate depression, an open-label placebo combined with psychosocial support is more effective than psychosocial support alone.

Text us the word “PLACEBO” and fill out the form.
