Today, medical students at the Department of Family Medicine and Outpatient Care, Medical Faculty No. 2, participated in hands-on training in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) of the abdominal aorta.
Under the guidance of emergency physicians from the USA and faculty instructors, students learned how to visualize the abdominal aorta for aneurysm screening and even tried to see the heart using portable ultrasound devices.
Modern medical education means not only hearing knowledge—but seeing it in real time!
