Today, at the Department of Family Medicine and Ambulatory Care of the Medical Faculty №2, Uzhhorod National University, we celebrated a long-awaited event — the official opening of the International Family Medicine Club! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

💡 The initiative of the Department of Family Medicine and Ambulatory Care was launched with the support of the Interfamily Clinic as part of an international educational project uniting students, educators, and practicing doctors from different countries.

📚 Who the Club is for:
For students of all years who are interested in:
🔹 modern approaches to primary medical care,
🔹 international experience in family medicine,
🔹 digital technologies and telemedicine.

🔬 During the opening session, participants took part in a virtual clinical case discussion involving a patient with oncological pathology. The doctor conducted the examination in real time, using smart glasses with a built-in camera, allowing participants to see exactly what the physician saw.

💻 Additional high-resolution cameras created a true “presence effect”, making everyone feel as if they were right there in the consultation room.

The meeting brought together colleagues from Croatia, Taiwan, Italy, Poland, India, and other countries.
Together, we discussed the challenges of modern family medicine, the future of digital medical education, and the importance of a multicultural approach to patient care. 🌏

Ahead lies a series of joint case discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions, where students will have the opportunity to learn from experts worldwide, sharpen their clinical thinking, and expand their professional horizons.
