The Association of Sister Cities of Corvallis-Uzhhorod has been a reliable partner of the “InterFamily” Clinic since its foundation and has made a significant contribution to the development of our projects. Thanks to its support, many important initiatives have been implemented, including assistance in providing mental and medical support to IDP patients, family members who lost their breadwinner in the war, or military personnel with disabilities as a result of military service, as well as residents of the Rodynne Teplo boarding house.
The Association also supported:
For several years now, the clinic has been running the Mental Health Circle program for vulnerable IDPs. Within its framework, family doctors with special training screen and manage common psycho-emotional disorders at the primary care level. If necessary, patients receive psychiatric consultations, as well as the help of a psychotherapist and psychologist.
This assistance is free of charge for internally displaced persons (IDPs) who have registered with the clinic.
In addition, the project procures psychotropic medications for patients with mental health disorders who are unable to purchase them on their own, including low-income IDPs and displaced persons living in retirement homes.
We are sincerely grateful to our partners and sponsors for supporting and developing these charitable initiatives.
