A team of trainers from the WHO Mental Health Gap Action Program held the first meeting of the mhGAP Discussion Club.

The event was held at the Department of Family Medicine and Outpatient Care of the Medical Faculty #2 of UzhNU on the initiative of the InterFamily Clinic, with the support of the Association of Sister Cities Corvallis-Uzhhorod and Dr. Rampton personally as part of the European creative project Me-mind.

16 doctors and trainees of the InterFamily clinic after completing the mhGAP course on the NHSU platform had the opportunity to have a live conversation:
– classify different clinical cases according to the main algorithm of the WHO mhGAP guidelines;

– discuss how to ensure that the principles of respect for the patient’s personal boundaries are respected in a healthcare facility;
– apply their knowledge of communication in role-playing games;
– improve communication skills with patients during group analysis.
