In May 2025, the 100th anniversary conference of the European General Practice Research Network (EGPRN) took place in Gothenburg, Sweden. The main topic was telemedicine: its capabilities, quality and safety.
Experts from all over the world discussed how digital technologies are changing primary healthcare, improving access to treatment, and helping to reduce health inequalities. Particular attention was paid to the use of artificial intelligence, personal data protection, and the impact of telemedicine on the quality of medical services.
The conference included scientific presentations, posters and discussions, in particular on the implementation of telemedicine solutions in practice.
This anniversary was not only the result but also the start of a new stage in the development of digital medicine.
