My psychiatrist listened to my whining for a whole hour and was extremely attentive to details. Thanks to his attentiveness, I started to pay attention to really important things, and now I am learning to work with my thoughts, analyze, and write them down. He explained to me with examples that I am not a sick person, but a normal one, and everything that happens to me is also normal. This is extremely important for me to know. Dr. Andrii gave me many tools to work with my anxiety, which also help me. I am always in touch with my family doctor Victoriia Ratsyn, and psychiatrist Andrii Kolesnyk. Without them, it would be hard for me to cope on my own.

I am grateful for the help. I was practically in depression, unable to see which direction to go, and I had a standstill in my actions and thoughts. Understanding that I needed to act, I couldn’t focus on one thing. However, after meeting with a psychiatrist Dr. Anrdrii a week ago, I saw steps that could be taken and, to my surprise, I essentially took them thanks to the consultations. They worked unexpectedly well for me. For this, I am very thankful to God, the doctor, and the volunteers who make it possible to bring this to life. I look forward to future meetings.

I should have come to the gynecologist a long time ago, since the previous examination in 2020 revealed “erosion” and the papilloma virus, but I postponed everything, then there was no time, then war and migration to the other region, then finances did not allow…. I recently went to my family doctor in the Interfamily clinic and during the appointment she told me about the free women’s screening supported by the Association of Sister-Cities Corvallis -Uzhhorod: then I did not hesitate and without delaying I immediately made an appointment with the gynecologist. Thanks a lot for this opportunity!..

It’s been 2 weeks since the InterFamily clinic launched a women’s health screening campaign, which gave us the opportunity to screen for cervical cancer in most of the women registered at the clinic, who for various reasons, and most often financial, postponed going to the gynecologist. We are grateful to our sister city partners from Corvallis for this wonderful opportunity. As part of this action, we conducted a Pap test by liquid cytology for IDP women, which allowed us to identify many problems together and start timely treatment. We sincerely believe that such campaigns are not a one-time event and we will continue to help women who need it so much.

Thanks to Pavel Kolesnyk and young trainee physicians I received qualified medical help. After my visit to the clinic I now have hope that my health will improve. The level of medical services makes me want to get health check-ups only in the ‘InterFamily’ clinic.

‘Inter Family’ Clinic – is an example of a great social initiative that grew up to be a unique and important project in our uneasy times. All forced migrant families get free medical help here. All with great love and care.
