Unfortunately,\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the intensity of hostilities in all directions\u00a0 from both sides has intensified, the number of casualties from both sides has\u00a0 grown.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We must admit that\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a greater number of Ukrainian settlements were subject to rocket attacks, which caused human casualties.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> There is a further migration of refugees from other cities of Ukraine to Uzhhorod . Part of the refugees whose<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">term of stay has expired is returning from abroad back to Ukraine. Many of those who returned to Ukraine have nowhere to go; their homes have been destroyed by the invaders. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In spite of all the difficulties we keep on going with our activities in different selected directions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our medical volunteer team\u00a0 is successfully providing\u00a0 its medical service to the refugees in its\u00a0 third\u00a0 working location which is more suitable for its work. Its popularity is growing and it becomes <a href=\"https:\/\/podrobnosti.ua\/2450021-mediki-zakarpattja-organzuvali-volonterskij-medichnij-kabnet-jak-vn-pratsju.html\">known throughout Ukraine<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Basing on\u00a0 the materials of Salzburg\u00a0 OMI we have launched a new teaching project\u00a0 <\/span><b>\u00abArt of palliative medicine\u00bb<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> .A 30 hours course was quite a new idea in\u00a0 the Medical University history. The course was created and implemented by the Faculty of our Department.<\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2032 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/interfamily.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/unnamed-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"384\" \/><\/li>\n<li>I was invited to give two presentations : at WONCA Europe Open Meeting in London with \u00a0 \u201c <b>120 days of uncertainty in Ukrainian family doctors\u2019 life: is there any future? <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/qLnEttg4oU0\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/qLnEttg4oU0<\/a> and for German experts in Dresden \u201c\u00a0 <b>How should\u00a0 Germany focus on health<\/b><b> aspects connected with the current situation in Ukraine caused by the<\/b><b>\u00a0massive migration of the displaced population\u201d.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The development of the<\/span> <b>PROJECT \u201c International Family Medicine Clinic of Uzhgorod (IFMCU)\u201d.<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The refurbishing works in the Clinic are going on and we can see a light at the end of the tunnel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a number of refugees in Uzhhorod does not reduce and not all of them are ready to call at our temporal medical center for refugees we decided to launch a new Project under the name\u00a0 <\/span><b>\u201cPatients\u2019 Education\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> . First, we see it in a form of a blog and later in a form of a site of our\u00a0 \u00a0 \u201cInternational Family Medicine Clinic of Uzhgorod (IFMCU)\u201d<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019ll be grateful for your assistance<\/span><b>\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ukraine has entered the fifth month of the war against Russian aggression.
