What should a doctor be able to do?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Diagnose? Prescribe treatment? Make decisions quickly and confidently? Make the best choice for the patient? Be flexible, communicative, willing to learn and try new things? <\/p>\n

It was these skills, as well as many others, that sixth-year students demonstrated at the latest OSCE module!<\/p>\n

During the course \u201cGeneral Practice \u2013 Family Medicine,\u201d future doctors dealt with real challenges of primary care: they planned screenings, dispelled patients’ doubts, supported parents and treated children, helped cope with back pain, managed chronic diseases, and rejoiced and grieved together with standardized patients.<\/p>\n

Each module is the result of the coordinated work of about 20 people. Among them are teachers from the Department of Family Medicine and Outpatient Care, as well as doctors from the Interfamili Clinic and trainers from the ShowUp4Health project. <\/p>\n
